So you’re probably aware that the team at Arcade1up makes some of the best arcade-to-home
experiences possible, including the NBA Jam arcade game we reviewed a while back. But the
company is also planning to take home gaming in a different direction with its latest announcement – the Infinity Game Table.
Set to hit Kickstarter within a matter of days, the Infinity Game Table introduces a digital way to play a number of your favorites. Available in two different size options (24 inch and 32 inch displays), the Game Table utilizes an HD Touchscreen for ease of use, along with the ability to zoom in dynamically and connect to Wi-Fi to download any new games available to the service.
The Infinity Game Table will enable you to play Hasbro hits like Monopoly, Scrabble, Chutes and Ladders and more, without the need to lay out any sort of game pieces. On top of that, hundreds of other indie and licensed titles will be available to download once the Game Table is fully funded. You can check out a teaser trailer for the product below.
We’ll keep you updated as progress on the Infinity Game Table comes along. But it looks like a cool way to play a number of your favorites, without having to worry about the game board going to rot. Let’s play!
