Those of you that have been awaiting the arrival of the next big update for Animal Crossing, there’s good news – you’re about to get it.
Nintendo announced this morning that the game’s winter update will arrive this coming Thursday, November 19th . With it, you’ll be able to celebrate some new holidays, while also taking advantage of a helpful new storage solution.
First up, Turkey Day activities will kick off on November 26, followed by Toy Day dropping on December 24, just in time for Christmas. During Turkey Day, you’ll be able to speak with Franklin the turkey chef, helping him in creating the ultimate feast. You’ll need to bring him ingredients, but will be promptly rewarded with a gift for doing so.
As for Toy Day, you’ll be able to exchange gifts and enjoy the festive appearance of the town. It’ll grow with each passing day leading up to December 24th , and you can also collect a few ornaments for your trouble as well. Don’t forget to get yourself a good Christmas sweater, too!
Nine new reactions will also be added to the game, simply by visiting the Nook Stop terminal. You’ll be able to choose six additional hairstyles for your character as well.
But the big thing? Storage. The home storage for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will now be opened up to 2,400 slots. In addition, you can also transfer save data from one system to another – a feature that many players have been clamoring for.
