Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: Game Returns in Time for the Holidays

Today’s Ubisoft Forward may not have been as earth-shattering as its last special with Far Cry 6, but there were still a number of announcements to be excited about.
Among them is the return of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game Complete Edition, which will make its debut on unspecified platforms (probably consoles and PC alike) this holiday season.
It’s a re-release of the 2010 game that originally came out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, to coincide with Edgar Wright’s movie of the same name.
Since its release, Scott Pilgrim has become the stuff of legend, just like the film. Fueled by a beautiful hand-drawn art style, tough but fair beat-em-up tactics and great music by Anamanaguchi, it’s become a holy grail for a lot of gamers. Alas, it’s been delisted for several years, so the only way they could really enjoy it was if someone else had downloaded the game beforehand. But all that changes this holiday season.
As you can see from the trailer below, Scott Pilgrim retains all the beat-em-up goodness of the original game. It also includes two downloadable characters as part of its “Complete Edition” set, including Knives Chau and Wallace Wells, bringing the total playable character count to six.
That’s a lot of heroes to master as you take on the Evil Exes.
Check out the trailer below, and get ready for more Scott goodness in the months ahead! And be sure to buy the game as soon as you can. You never know when it might go away for good again…
