Pokemon Unite Set to Fire up Gamers’ Again

The recent Pokemon Unite announcement has Pokemon fans in a tizzy.

Some are saying that it’s a bit too late, but the Pokemon Company and Tencent have announced their own 5 vs 5 strategy game. While many are cynical about the announcement, Pokemon fans have
something to look forward to with Pokemon Unite.
It has the potential to reinvigorate the Pokemon phenomenon because it will open up the world of competitive gaming using the Pokemon series of characters as its back-drop.

The game is being developed for the Pokemon company by Tencent’s TiMi Studios, the same folks who developed and launched Call of Duty: Mobile, the biggest mobile launch in the history of mobile gaming. Now comes Pokemon Unite and it should be a game for the ages! The biggest piece to the Unite puzzle comes because the Pokemon series has seen a resurgence from last year’s Sword and Shield release in North America.

Pokemon Unite could be the jet fuel that Nintendo needs to enter the realm of competitive eSports gaming. The game has a good developer, good timing and the tools it needs to bring even more fans into the Pokemon fray.
We are excited to see how this game will shape up.
