Gaming Medium Version 2 PlayStation 5 Price and Launch Window Revealed

By now you are all aware that the PlayStation 5 price was leaked by Amazon France. The unit will sell for around $500 in France, but how much will it be here in North America and when will the pre-orders be announced. We are hearing that supplies of the system will be so low that no pre-orders will be offered. This is subject to change, but needless to say you might have to pitch a tent really early to be able to get a PlayStation 5. As for Microsoft and the Xbox One Series X, the supplies should be plentiful and look for the price to be $50 or so cheaper than the PlayStation 5.

Well the next generation system launch window including for the PlayStation 5 will be sometime in November and my sources are telling me in or around November 20th the system will ship with five to 10 new titles making an appearance. The usual suspects will be included Spider-Man, Call of Duty, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Cyberpunk, Avengers, Madden and NHL.

Well the next generation system launch window including for the PlayStation 5 will be sometime in November and my sources are telling me in or around November 20 th. The system will ship with five to 10 new titles making an appearance. The usual suspects will be included, Spider-Man, Call of Duty, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Cyberpunk, Avengers, Madden and NHL. Here is some more info: PlayStation 5 will have two versions, the digital version which will be around $100 cheaper and the Pro Version which will have more bells and whistles and will cost more. If I were you I would put away $1000 to $1500 to get yourself two controllers, a couple of games, a gadget or two and the system. This should keep your budget within the reality of how much it will cost to get what you need to start your PlayStation 5 experience off right. Or you could just sign up for the GameButler YouTube channel and fill in the ballot to win a PlayStation 5.

While most of the hoopla is surrounding the PlayStation5 and to a lesser extent the Xbox One Series X, do not and I repeat do not count Nintendo out. They are going to fight like the dickens to give gamers a reason not to discount the Switch. What Nintendo needs to focus on is not to rehash Wii and Wii U gaming content and charge top dollar. They should be getting a couple of Mario Kart 8 track add-ons ready to make up for hosing gamers and making them pay $25 a track for Mario Kart 8 and only having four new tracks in the game. That was horse poop!

To all you public relations folks out there, read this disclaimer. This column is meant for fun and if you get pissed at us for speculating on the industry well save your breath to cool your soup! Life’s too short to get gray hair anywhere on your person so grab a drink, get a cold beverage, some popcorn and Chillax.
