The Last of Us Part II PS4 Goes Gold?

We will put this title in perspective for you and give you some insight on what you can expect from this title, Game Butler style. A couple of weeks ago some spoilers leaked about one of the big 2020 releases for the PlayStation 4 causing quite a stir in the gaming world. Naughty Dog the developer of the game was caught in the middle of the controversy.

Rumours were circulating that a disgruntled employee or employees leaked the information about the game to the general public. To be honest, the game needed to break through and get some buzz. Especially, with everything going on and the original release date being pushed back from May 29th. Since it was already delayed, then the Pandemic hits, now Naughty Dog has moved mountains to get this game out. While it is a bit interesting that one of the biggest games of 2020 isn’t being released on the PlayStation 5 first. We will have to wait and see if there’s a PlayStation 5 version, with additional story elements and game play.

That would be smart and during this console cycle Sony has been very smart. They know their craft and their customers. They have delivered and have counter punched their competition for the last decade. They are the current gaming world champs and it will remain to be seen if Last of Us Part II delivers another knockout punch for gamers.

In terms of the leak, I am not saying this was done on purpose, but anything that can kick start a game during this Pandemic wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.  The Last of Us Part lI is the second installment in the mega hit PlayStation 4 series. The game has gone gold and it will be released on June 19th.

This time around the game takes place five years after the original trek across the post-pandemic United States.  Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming, living in a thriving community of survivors. When a violent event disrupts the peace, Ellie embarks on a journey to carry out justice and find closure.

Ellie ventures from Wyoming to Seattle and new game play systems and tactics deliver upon the life or death stakes of Ellie’s journey through the hostile world. The situation of the pandemic takes its toll on Ellie and brings out survival instincts.  As she hunts those responsible, she is confronted with the physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

This is a violent game that mimics life, it’s a one-player game with some serious survival attitude. Gamers will be able to play the game on June 19th and we will have a review. So far the game seems like it will be worth the wait.

However, the fact that we are facing a real pandemic, some parents may want to put this title on the back burner because it might bring out some anxiety in their gamer.

Parents may not necessarily need this at the moment
