Animal Crossing New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch is a modern day work of gaming art. It’s a defining moment in the evolution of the Nintendo Switch. But enough about how great the
game is you can read our review for that. In the meantime let’s get you some tips to help you enjoy this great game even more.

Catching A Fish
You will need a fishing rod try to keep two on hand as they do break. When a fish nibbles on the line you will hear a click or two or three or four or five. Then a grabbing sound. As soon as you hear that sound press the ”A” button as quickly as you can and you will reel in a fish or a tire. Make sure you position the line in front of the fish as best as you can. Just don’t to after the big ones, the little ones can get you some big cash too.

Oar fish will get you 9000 bells each and snapping turtles will get you 5000 bells.

Red Snapper one of my favourite fish in the game and on the planet will buoy your bank account by 3,000 Bells.

Cowrie 60 Bells each

Finding Manila Clams
Keep your eyes peeled on the sand, if you see an air bubble or small hole in the sand, use your shovel to did up in that area and you will uncover a Manila Calm. You will be able to make fish bait or sell the clams for 100 Bells. Catch a few clams and you will also be rewarded.

Catching Wasps
This is easier said than done. As soon as you shake a tree, fruit and wood will fall out of the tree. Sometimes you will dislodge a wasps nest. Change to the net and try to catch the wasps in mid
air. If you miss they will sting you. You can buy medicine from the Resident Services if you wish.

You can move your house but only after Resident Services has been upgraded from a tent to a building.
After that takes place:
A) Go to Resident Services
B) Speak to Tom Nook
C) Select About my Home
D) Choose relocate your home from the menu
Moving into your home will cost you, and real estate in the game isn’t cheap. It will cost you 30,000 Bells to move your house and if you want to move to another building it will cost you 50000 Bells.

Tree for All – Digging up Trees and Breaking Rocks
You can accumulate Nook miles by performing tasks within the game. After you gain enough currency to get a plane ticket 2000 Nook miles. You can print out your plane ticket at the Resident Services ATM (Nook Stop). Then you can take it to the airport building and take a flight to a nearby island. Make sure you have enough tools, two fishing rods, two axes, two nets, a shovel and two poles to hop from one side of the rivers to the other. To gain strength you can shake trees and knock the fruit, peaches, cherries or coconuts off of the trees. Once you eat a piece of fruit you can dig up a tree using a shovel and add it to your items. When you return to your island, you can plant the trees or flowers you collected and populate your island with coconut and cherry trees. You can sell your caught fish for Bells and use the money to buy items for your house, buy new rooms or do construction on your home.
