After spending a good amount of time being an exclusive for PlayStation consoles, Ghostwire: Tokyo is set to connect with Xbox fans. Tango Gameworks, alongside Microsoft, confirmed that the game will arrive on Xbox consoles – as well as Xbox Game Pass – starting on April 12th.
In addition to the game arriving, the developer has also confirmed that a new Spider’s Thread update will release on the same day, available for all players of the game (PlayStation included).
“Take on the Spider’s Thread mode and test your skills as well as play new quests in the main game, capture a souvenir with an enhanced Photo Mode, explore the all-new Middle School area, pull out new combat moves like the Quick Dodge or Charge Rush attack, and so much more! With the Spider’s Thread update, players will get to have the definitive Ghostwire: Tokyo experience,” the company noted in an Xbox Wire post.
Although PlayStation owners are losing an exclusive, there is some good news on their end as well. Ghostwire: Tokyo is set to arrive on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium starting on March 21 st , as part of the subscription services. They’ll join the likes of Bethesda’s Rage 2, Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Sony’s Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, the premiering title Tchia, and several others.
So, yes, Ghostwire for everyone in just a few short weeks!
