Hey, remember the good ol’ days when we had a number of RoboCop video games to choose from? Alas, the 80s hero hasn’t been seen since the original Xbox days, though he did stop by Mortal Kombat 11 as a guest character. But, relax, dead or alive, he’s coming to new consoles later this year.
During yesterday’s Nacon Connect, the publisher revealed that RoboCop: Rogue City would be arriving for consoles and PC in September. There’s not a specific release date yet, but one should be ready soon.
The company also revealed a brief gameplay trailer, giving you an idea of what it’s like to be RoboCop. You’ll be able to deliver bloody justice to enemies, while at the same time exploring the city and finding some good secondary objectives. But if you watch the trailer, you’ll recognize a familiar voice. That’s because Peter Weller, who played the character in the original film, has returned, providing both voiceovers and likeness to RoboCop. How cool is that?
Watch the gameplay trailer below and prepare for trouble in just a few months’ time!
