With Elden Ring selling over 20 million copies and being heralded as one of the best games of 2022, it’s no surprise that players want more of it. And the developers at FromSoftware are happy to oblige.
The company has confirmed that new downloadable content for the game is in the works. Titled Shadow of the Erdtree, the DLC is “currently in development” with no release date.
However, it’s set to open up even more of the lore from the fantastic single player adventure. However, the company did note that this is not just a simple update, and will instead introduce an all-new expansion, including a few new bosses and other challenges. “We hope you look forward to new adventures in the Lands Between,” the official Twitter account noted.
We reviewed the game early last year, and it continues to have amazing presence. That probably explains why so many people love it.
Elden Ring is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S and PC.
