Sony has been teasing quite a bit of information about the second coming of its PlayStation VR headset for PlayStation 5…and now we know exactly when It will arrive.
In a new PlayStation Blog post, the company revealed that the PlayStation VR 2 is set to launch on February 22, 2023. In addition, the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller charging station will also arrive on the same day.
But then…there’s the pricing. The PSVR2 will apparently run you $549, which is actually more than the $500 you’d spend on the PlayStation 5 itself. And keep in mind that the PSVR2 won’t be backward compatible with PSVR games. The controller charging station will run you $50.
In addition, a special Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle will also be available for $50 more, including all the goods and a digital copy of the Firesprite-developed adventure, based on the hit PlayStation franchise.
