Hot on the heels of announcing a new Iron Man game that’s in the works at EA Motive, the mega-publisher has confirmed a new deal, in which it’ll make an additional two games alongside Marvel Studios.
The “multi-title collaboration” comes on the heels of the company’s success with Star Wars games in the past, including the Battlefront games, Jedi Fallen Order and its forthcoming Survivor sequel, and Star Wars: Squadrons. Each game will provide their “own original story” within the Marvel universe, though there’s no
word which heroes will be featured in the next two games.
EA COO Laura Miele spoke about the deal following its announcement. “We have been long- time fans of Marvel and their impressive leadership, so this is a remarkable moment for our developers as well as our players and fans. We look forward to welcoming Marvel into the EA family of creators and know this collaboration will produce exceptional experiences for our players. We can’t wait to see players' reactions when they suit up as Iron Man and do the extraordinary things this Super Hero is known for,” she explained.
We should see some first footage for Iron Man down the road, but, for now, EA Motive is working on wrapping up development for its Dead Space remake, which is set to arrive in January 2023.
