Over the past few months, Volition and Deep Silver have seen some harsh feedback over their Saints Row reboot, even though some people (including us) liked it. That said, the developer has announced a major update that will bring the game back up to speed.
Expected to launch sometime in November, the update will include over 200 bug fixes, as well as a number of stability upgrades to make Saints Row run better than ever. Volition has noted that they are working on “delivering improvements over new features,” and the update will “pack in as many improvements and fixes as we can.”
That said, the company isn’t ready to discuss what’s ahead on a roadmap as of yet, though expansions are reportedly in the works. There will, however, be a free cosmetic pack called Front To Back coming this week, with a number of goodies for fans. Expansion Pack players will get additional content as well.
2023 should be a big year for the game, and hopefully this update will give it a push in the right direction. We shall see.
