EA Motive Is Officially Working On an Iron Man Game

After being rumored for some time, Electronic Arts has finally revealed that it’s working a popular Marvel property – Iron Man!
In social media posts today, the company confirmed that EA Motive is hard at work on a new single player adventure game revolving around the well-equipped character. EA has confirmed that the game will feature an “original narrative,” complete with the “complexity, charisma and creative genius” of Tony Stark. That’ll be interesting to see.
EA Motive previously worked on the hit Star Wars Squadrons, and is currently wrapping up production on the remake of Dead Space, which is set to drop on next-gen consoles this January.
This is the latest big-budget move by EA, alongside Marvel Studios, to bring superheroes to video games. Previously, Iron Man appeared in Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers as a playable character; and Sega also produced a pair of movie-licensed games for consoles.
