As revealed earlier this year at the 2022 Xbox Games Showcase, Diablo IV is working its way towards a 2023 release. And according to the developers, there’s an “End Game” Closed Beta coming that will allow players to jump in and see what it’s about.
Details are available here, but there’s a catch. Not everyone will be able to jump in. Blizzard has noted that players “will be invited to test Diablo IV’s robust end game offerings using specific gameplay data.” In other words, they have to be seasoned players. They noted that “additional details explaining what types of players are being invited, and how invites will be sent out” are available in the blog entry here.
That said, the Beta will be across all platforms, complete with cross-play compatibility. That includes PC, as well as Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The Closed End Game Beta will include the following offerings: Helltide, Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers of the Dead, Fields of Hatred, and Paragon Boards. So, yeah, you’re going to be busy.
Check out the video below and look for more details on the beta soon! The game arrives in 2023.
