Rumor: EA Could Be Working On an Iron Man Video Game

Just days after it was reported that EA has begun work on a new Black Panther game alongside the folks at Marvel, rumors are running rampant that it’s also considering another property for a huge new adventure.
Known insider Tom Henderson recently reported on an episode of his podcast that the company is working on a new game based on Iron Man. He noted that the company was working with Marvel on something “that’s single player,” and that the character would be right up players’ alley.
That said, he “never had anything concrete to fully report” on the game, so your guess is as good as ours. Still, a single player Marvel game would hit the spot. Just look at what happened
with Square Enix’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Iron Man has been prominently featured in games over the years. He starred in a pair of Sega-produced adventures based on the big-screen films; he also became a playable character in the
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games; and, most recently, players could suit up as him in Marvel’s Avengers.
We’ll see what happens in the months ahead. But Marvel and EA would be an interesting partnership, to be sure.
