After so many delays and questions about whether or not it would be finished, Skull and Bones from Ubisoft is finally ready to set sail. The game will debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC on November 8th, bringing pirate fantasy to the forefront. A new trailer also debuted, setting the mood for the adventure that lies ahead of you.
It takes place during the Golden Age of Piracy at the end of the 17th century, when so many crews are trying to dominate the water. Of course, it’s your chance to jump in and create a legacy of your own, sinking ships and taking over territories in the process.
Skull and Bones will mostly revolve around naval combat, as you can actually put together and sail up to 12 different ships, each with different abilities, firepower and more. You can also add more weapons and crew mates and blast whoever you wish out of the water.
But since it’s multiplayer, that means there’s always a bigger fish. That means taking on others in battle to see who truly rules the sea. But make sure you save plenty of room for supplies, as well as options for boosting your Infamy Tiers so you don’t sell yourself short!
Skull and Bones will hit the open seas this fall. Will you be playing?
