After some heavy anticipation – and some unnecessary harassing of Sony Santa Monica employees – we finally know when Kratos will make his debut on the PlayStation 5. God of War Ragnarök has a release date of November 9th, and will debut simultaneously for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A new “Father and Son” trailer has debuted right alongside it, showing us what to expect from the long-awaited adventure. You can see it below.
The game will once again bring back Kratos and his young charge Atreus as they battle insurmountable odds – including the angry god Thor. Along with the traditional release of the game, Ragnarök will also receive a mighty Collector’s Edition, loaded with goodies. The video below gives you a good idea of what to expect. There’s also a sweet Jotnar edition worth checking out.
Needless to say, fans are going to want this.
