Fans were sent into a tizzy a few years back when EA confirmed that its skateboarding simulation series Skate would make a return. Now, it appears to be on track for getting finished, though…it isn’t quite there yet.
Some first gameplay footage of the Skate revival was recently revealed, and, as you can see, it’s…early. Still, there’s a lot of promise here when the game eventually does get done. And, hey, you’ve got a chance to play it early!
According to the video, this gameplay stems from a pre-pre-pre-alpha gameplay build, and it’s the same one that fans can sign up for now. Those interested in trying out can do so on the official page.. Right now, it is PC only, but other platforms will eventually be available over time.
The new Skate doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’re thrilled to see it coming along nicely.
