Considering the popularity of Star Wars series on Disney+ right now, the company is looking at every aspect it can for new content for the service. And that could mean a show for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s main character, Cal Kestis.
YouTuber Kristian Harloff recently released a video hinting that the streaming service could be giving Cal his own series, with Cameron Monaghan once again filling the role. Harloff didn’t cite a source for the rumor, but noted, “There’s no production dates set,” Harloff said, “but my source tells me that this is happening.”
Considering the popularity of Jedi: Fallen Order and the recent announcement of its sequel, Survivor, there’s a lot of hype for the game series, so a TV series wouldn’t be out of the question. And for good measure, it could tie in with Survivor in some way, though that’s not confirmed just yet.
Meanwhile, Survivor will follow five years after Fallen Order, with Kestis learning more about his Jedi ways and facing even more devastating forces along the way. The game is set to arrive in 2023. No word yet if the Disney+ series will follow a similar storyline.
We’ll see what happens in the months ahead, as Disney could announce the series during its D23 showcase when it takes place later this summer. In the meantime, you can check out Harloff’s video below.
