So just how big will the territory you need to cover in WB’s Gotham Knights be? Well, let’s just say you’re going to be a while.
While speaking with Game Informer, the game’s director, Geoff Ellenor, explained that WB Montreal has created the largest representation of the city of Gotham to date. Yes, even bigger than Batman: Arkham Knight. And that was huge.
“It’s pretty big. I haven’t put one map over the other, but our Gotham is a big place. I tend to spend a lot of my Zoom calls on the Batcycle driving around Gotham. It is one of the fastest and most chill ways to move around the city. It feels like a big place,” Ellenor explained.
To add further scope to the details, executive producer Fleur Marty noted, “For sure it’s the biggest version of Gotham that has been represented in video games.
The most important thing for us is its density and verticality. It has a lot of layers. The Batcycle is the long-range mode of transportation.”
We’ll have to see just how much ground we have to cover when Gotham Knights arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC on October 25th. Check out the latest trailer below, highlighting Nightwing!
