We thought we were going to have to wait an eternity for Blizzard’s Diablo IV…but apparently the company has moved up its release. Furthermore, it’s coming to new-gen consoles to boot!
The publisher confirmed that the game will arrive in 2023 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, skipping the previous generation of systems. However, when you get a good look at the visuals, it’ll be easy to see why. This game looks astounding.
The trailer below features the latest hero to come to the series, the dead-raising Necromancer, as well as all sorts of sweet gameplay to get you in the mood for some serious dungeon roaming. And again, it looks fantastic.
Details about a specific release date should be available in the months ahead, but Xbox did promise it would release “sometime in the next twelve months.” We’ll see what happens.
