Although Sony didn’t approve the Days Gone sequel it was hoping to work on, Bend Studio is already moving on to its latest project.
After revealing its new game studio logo (seen above), the company announced an all new multiplayer project that’s in the works. “We are currently working on a new IP that includes multiplayer and builds upon the open-world systems of Days Gone, but brings you a whole new world that we are extremely excited to craft for you,” said Kevin McAllister, community
manager, in a new PlayStation Blog post.
That said, the company wasn’t ready to detail just what this new project is. However, considering how close it is to Sony, it’ll likely be for PlayStation 5 – and maybe even PC – once it is eventually ready.
In the meantime, those of you that missed out on Days Gone should definitely give it a shot when you get a chance. It’s available on PC and PlayStation 4/5, and you can check out the trailer below!
