It’s been a while since Ubisoft announced its sports-oriented multiplayer game Roller Champions, and almost just as long since we’ve seen anything new on it. But, surprise, it’s finally coming out next week!
Ubisoft confirmed the game will debut on May 25th on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC. The game will be free-to-play, though the publisher hasn’t detailed what content will be available for purchase just yet.
The game features some swift roller action between teams, based on the trailer that’s featured below. It’ll basically have two squads taking on each other on a colorful playfield, trying to score five points as they can. Of course, there’s defensive tactics as well, so it won’t be an easy game to win.
The game will feature online play, along with cross-play and cross-progression. And it’ll apparently drop on other platforms later this year, including Amazon Luna and Nintendo Switch. We’ll let you know when those are inbound.
It’s nice to see the game finally coming out though. At last!
