So some bad news to report. The Dead Space reboot that EA is tirelessly working on won’t arrive until sometime past March 2023. So we’ll be waiting a bit. However, the good news is
that we’ve got some cool stuff on the way.
During a recent fiscal year sales report, the company noted forthcoming releases for the year, leading into the beginning of 2023. We already know about a new Madden game, the final FIFA soccer game (before its rebranding next year), a new NHL game, and a new Need For Speed.
There’s also Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 to consider, though that hasn’t been officially revealed yet.
However, the company hinted at four major titles that will drop before March 2023. What titles, you ask? They’re hinted at as “a major IP,” a “partner title,” a “sports title,” and, most importantly, a “remake.” They didn’t say what, though.
The “major IP” could easily be Titanfall 3, as that game was rumored with GameStop appearances over the course of the weekend. The sports title? Well, it’s not PGA Tour, as that’s coming on its own terms. So…a new NBA Street, perhaps? Fingers crossed. And the partner title? Well, we’ll just have to see.
That leaves the “remake.” Could this be the long-awaited revival of SSX that we’ve been waiting for since the days of PlayStation 2? Or perhaps the return of the much-beloved Burnout 3: Takedown? Your guess is as good as ours, but hopefully we’ll learn more in the months ahead.
Whatever the case, EA has some big stuff on the horizon. We can’t wait to see what it is.
