The first expansion for the Left 4 Dead inspired multiplayer shooter Back 4 Blood is just days away from release – and now we have first details on what we can expect.
Titled Tunnels of Terror, the new expansion will thrust players into new co-op dungeons, as they take on seven new Ridden Hives and three new monster types – the Urchins, which set explosive mines; the Rippers, which can hit you with large arms; and the Shredders, which, um, shred anything they touch. Ouch.
There will also be two new Cleaners joining the fold – Sharice, a firefighter that knows her way around a good axe and helping the team stay healthy; and Heng, a knife master that knows where to find the Hives better than anyone.
In addition, seven new legendary weapons, eight character skins, 12 weapon skins and more are coming, and the content will be playable across all PvP modes within the game.
Finally, a No Hope difficulty level will open up as part of a new update for the game, offered free of charge. The expansion, however, will cost you money.
