If you haven’t had a chance to check out the video game adaptation of Vin Diesel’s Fast & Furious franchise, Crossroads, you’re running out of road.
The game’s official website has confirmed that the title is headed to delisting as of April 29th.
That means you will no longer be able to get the game on PC, Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Bandai Namco didn’t provide a reason for this, but more than likely, it’s due to the expiring of the official license for the property.
The page notes that the game will cease to be available as of 4 AM CEST on the 29th. It will, however, remain in the library of anyone who purchases it, and can still be downloaded.
As for any DLC available within the game, it’ll still be on hand for whoever owns it. Bandai Namco also made note that the game’s online modes will remain active, though it didn’t say for how long.
We reviewed the game upon its release, and we didn’t, um, hate it, but we didn’t like it either. There’s something about it that just kept it held back from greatness. Maybe because it didn’t have Ludacris. Yeah, that’s it.
So if you want the game, go get it. Otherwise, you’ll be without Vin forever – unless you own The Chronicles of Riddick on Xbox, of course.
