Even though all of Far Cry 6’s planned DLC has already released, that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of new content for the game. In fact, the world of the Upside Down is just about set to make its debut.
As part of a “free weekend” celebration, in which players can enjoy the entire game from March 24-27 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms, Ubisoft confirmed that a special crossover event featuring Netflix’s Stranger Things will be included as well.
Called The Vanishing, the mission will bring stealth-horror thrills to the game, as you follow mysterious characters and new lore into dangerous territory. Dani returns, finding out that her fellow Yarans are vanishing. She’ll need to visit a hidden bunker and an abandoned factory to see what’s going on – and more importantly, who’s doing this.
In addition to the free weekend, the game will be marked down 50 percent over this period, so you can keep going after you get through these days. This includes most editions of the game as
well, in case you want to snag the DLC.
