Ever since it struck a deal with Williams/Bally to do so, Zen Studios has produced a number of classic pinball tables for its Pinball FX games. However, it’s since slowed down a bit, focusing on releasing a new compilation for Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 sometime this spring. But it’s just given fans of its games something to cheer about – the revival of a classic 1993 table that they can enjoy anytime.
The game is Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure, which first debuted in arcades way back when and became an instant favorite with fans. It features a number of rounds inspired by the first three films in the series, as well as acting by John Rhys-Davies, once again fulfilling his role as Sallah. And now, it’s finally getting the digital treatment.
Zen Studios revealed the table earlier this week, announcing that it’ll arrive for game consoles, PC and mobile alike this March. It’ll have all the features we’ve come to expect from the original table, as well as enhancements like 3D computer-generated characters, though the player can turn them off if they prefer to focus on the pinball action.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed just yet, but the table is likely to run around $9.99, along the lines of previous Williams/Bally pinball packs. If it does well, there’s always a chance that Zen could produce more popular licensed tables. Like, say, The Addams Family, perhaps?
