While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers a heaping dose of epic adventure, things are about to be bumped up a notch for Ubisoft’s adventure. We’re talking on God of War levels here.
Today, Ubisoft announced a new expansion for the game titled Dawn of Ragnarok, which is set to make its debut in March 2022. Crossover stories prepping players for the expansion, however, will be introduced in-game tomorrow.
The game will put players in the role of Odin as he attempts to protect Asgard from dangerous enemies, including the deadly Jotunheim frost giants and the Muspelheim fiery demons. On top
of that, his son, Baldr, has been kidnapped, forcing him to act even quicker in an effort to save him – and his kingdom, for good measure.
The game will introduce an additional 35 hours of gameplay, along with a new arena called The Trials of the Valkyrie, where you’ll be able to earn a bunch of new loot and other goodies. A new weapon class will also make its debut “with a specific combo system.”
You’ll need to pay for this one separately when it launches on March 10 for a yet-unnamed price. However, the crossover stories will be free of charge. Check out the trailer below!
