Call of Duty: Vanguard recently launched for consoles and PC, and so far, it’s doing pretty well for the franchise, even with its World War II setting. And that seems like a good a place as any to bring some stars into the series that are fitting for the era.
A new leak suggests that two big names are set to arrive in the game, as well as Warzone Pacific (the Battle Royale spinoff), and they’re both from the land of Disney.
The first suggests that Captain America of Marvel fame will join the franchise, in a potential American Heroes event. And right alongside him? None other than the man with the whip, Indiana Jones! Check out the tweet below, which came from “datamined text strings.”

To further solidify the news, Tom Henderson recently tweeted that Disney had been in talks with Activision about partnership opportunities, even with everything surrounding the controversy with the company. Check out that tweet below.
Both Captain America and Indiana Jones seem to be making their way to #Vanguard in the near future.

Now we just have to wait and see what kind of event the characters will be introduced into. But this isn’t the first time that Activision has worked with big names on Call of Duty. For a previous Warzone event, it brought John Rambo and Die Hard’s John McClane into the fold for a limited event.
We’ll see what happens in the months ahead, as the event likely won’t take place till summer.
No turkeys here, we’re giving away a PlayStation 5!
