It’s about that time again, when you’ll spend hundreds of dollars on great deals across Black Friday. Granted, it’s a slight bit different this time with COVID-19 making the rounds, but fans can still buy a whole bunch of stuff once November 21st rolls around – from Nintendo, anyway.
The company announced a number of deals that will be available during the big sales event, including a killer deal on the Nintendo Switch, as well as markdowns on several games.
First off, a special Mario Kart 8 Deluxe system bundle, featuring the original model and a three month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online (individual), will be available for $299.99. That may not be as hot a draw as the OLED system, but it’s still a good deal.
There are also going to be a number of game markdowns for the event, going down for $59.99 to $39.99. These include favorites like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, New Super
Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Maker 2, Paper Mario: The Origami King, Kirby Star Allies, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Fire Emblem: Three
Houses, Astral Chain, and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
Special games like Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit and Ring Fit Adventure will also see temporary price drops. The former goes down to a more reasonable $59.99, while the latter can be yours for $54.99. Not bad at all.
Finally, Nintendo has confirmed that it will have a digital eShop sale as well to coincide with Black Friday. It didn’t reveal what bargains would be available, but we should know more over the next couple of weeks.
Happy Black Friday shopping! And, as always, stay safe.
