Although Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game didn’t exactly get off on the right foot when it launched last year, it inevitably grew into something larger, thanks to a new Black Panther- themed expansion that gave the game some weight. And now, even more players will be able to experience the game, thanks to a new accessibility option.
Microsoft has announced that the game, along with its expansion, will make its way to the Xbox Game Pass program starting tomorrow. That means players will be able to enjoy it in all its splendor across PC and console, and it’ll also be accessible via the Cloud service, so it can be played on mobile devices as well.
Across the main campaign, the Operations story missions with Hawkeye and Kate Bishop, and the Wakanda expansion, there’s a lot to do in this game, whether going at it alone or teaming up with friends in co-op. And technically, it’s built rather nicely with Xbox Series S/X in mind, with faster frame rates and better processing overall.
To time with its arrival on Xbox Game Pass, Square Enix will kick off a Quad XP event starting tomorrow and running through October 4th. This will allow fans to build up points within the game, and unlock some neat new items.
The game will also see some new events over the course of the next few months. However, the Spider-Man character will only be playable on PlayStation platforms when he arrives later this fall. But Xbox fans still have a lot to play with.
Check out the game trailer below! And if you don’t have Xbox Game Pass, you can still hop on board for the first month for a buck. Get more details here!
