The mystery of Alan Wake is about to kick back into high gear.
Remedy Entertainment has announced that it’s bringing back its suspense/action game Alan Wake for a new generation to enjoy in Remastered form. The game, which originally made waves on the Xbox 360 years ago, will debut on PlayStation and Xbox consoles this fall, in a game set to be published by Epic Games.
Lake noted in a message to fans, “This is for you. Alan Wake came out over 11 years ago, and through that time, you have told us again and again how much you love the game, the story, the characters, and the lore. The remaster is coming because of your support for Alan Wake through the years.”
We can't thank you enough for the love and support you've shown #AlanWake these 11 years… but I can try.
I wrote you a letter on our lovely, long-time fan site, @TheSuddenStop.

The game is set to debut this fall, and will feature a number of enhancements for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, with 4K support.
Hopefully, this will lead to bigger things to come. Remedy does own the Alan Wake property outright; and with enough sales of Remastered, we could be looking at a full-on sequel somewhere down the road. One thing at a time, though.
