Between the popularity of WarZone and the legal hubbub surrounding Activision Blizzard right now, we were a little concerned about the future of the Call of Duty franchise. But not to worry, as Sledgehammer Games and its conjoining studios are ready to bring the World War II experience back to consoles this November.
A new trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard arrived this week, providing a glimpse at what’s to come with the latest chapter of the series. It looks to be set in World War II once again, taking place across various campaigns as players battle back against the Nazi regime.
The game’s campaign will provide a look at different characters, including soldiers placed within North Africa, the Eastern Front and more. What’s more, you’ll be able to use them to mow down enemies while helping your side win the war, if you can.
Oh, and there is multiplayer as well, and we’re likely to get a closer look at that in the weeks ahead, along with any WarZone events that could tie in with it.
The game arrives on November 5 on PC, Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
Check out the trailer below and get ready to fight hell!
