It’s another stellar month for Sony’s streaming PlayStation Now service, as several big games are joining the service. But one comes with a very interesting caveat.
Available today, the seven titles joining the service offer a great deal of variety. But the big one of the bunch is Red Dead Redemption 2, which gives players the chance to experience the stellar prequel to the series. There’s a catch, though – it’s not available for streaming. Players have to download the game in order to enjoy it on the service, a first for the service. But at least they have time to do so, as it’s on there until November 1st.
Other titles are available on the service as well. These include:
Judgment. This spin-off in the Yakuza series is a complete blast to play, and is available through October 4 th – more than enough time to experience it before the sequel arrives in September.
Nioh 2. The hack-and-slash sequel from Koei Tecmo offers lots of thrills and challenges, and is available as a permanent addition to the game library. At least for now.
God of War. The 2018 reboot returns, so players can experience its epic action all over again.
Moving Out. This fun little indie title has you moving stuff from one place to another in the quickest time possible. Think you have what it takes to move out faster than Billy Joel?
NASCAR Heat 5. The latest chapter in the ongoing sports series has you racing cars like a champ. Think you have what it takes to take the lead?
Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Finally, Sega’s sports sim arrives on the service just in time for the actual Olympics. Compete with friends and see if you have what it takes to score a gold medal victory.
Which games will you be checking out on PlayStation 4 and 5?
