Resident Evil 8 Village is a terrific entry in the long-running series, even though it’s a little more focused on action than it is terror. Still, its atmosphere and polish make it a remarkable story from start to finish. Well, original fish, as some downloadable content could tell a new arc in the story of Ethan Winters.
Today, during its somewhat lacking E3 showcase, Capcom kicked off by announcing that downloadable content is in the works for Village. It didn’t provide details as to whom it would focus on, or even when it would release. Only that it’s on the way. Hopefully we’ll see more details on this in the months ahead.
One thing players won’t have to wait on, however, is the previously announced multiplayer game ReVerse, included with Village. Capcom confirmed that it will be released next month, though it still didn’t provide a release date. Still, that’s good news for any of those players that ever wanted to pit Resident Evil legends against one another. Check out the trailer below if you need to catch up.
