It’s been ages since Cruis’n has been on a home console, with the last release, the 2007 Wii game Cruis’n, leaving an incredibly bitter taste in our mouths. But it’ll soon be back to fruition this fall, as Raw Thrills will bring its arcade hit Cruis’n Blast to the Nintendo Switch.
Based on the 2017 arcade hit of the same name, Cruis’n will introduce 29 tracks, compared to the five featured in the original release. It’ll have tracks from all over the globe, in which you can challenge both AI competitors and human racers, with up to four people able to connect via split-screen and connection through multiple systems. (There’s no word on online play just yet.)
The game will also feature a bevy of cars and trucks to drive, as well as…unicorns? Well, hey, they seem to rule E3 this year, so why not? Cruis’n doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s slated to arrive sometime this fall. There’s also a possibility it could come to PC as well, since it’s noted that the Switch version is “console exclusive.”
