Man, Arcade1up is really reaching for that nostalgia during E3. As if The Simpsons Arcade didn’t already have us drooling like Homer at a donut shop (mmmm, donuts), they’ve gone and introduced three new games that we can’t wait to add to our growing game room.
The first one is a re-release of its best-selling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game from Konami and Nickelodeon. But this time around, its design focuses on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time. Don’t worry, though, as the original game is still included.
The second game is another Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga variant, focusing on its Class of 1981 design from arcades. But it also includes ten other favorites, as follows:
- Dig Dug
- Mappy
- Rally X
- Galaxian
- Rolling Thunder
- Rompers
- Tower of Druaga
- King and Balloon
- Dig Dug II
- Galaga ’88
There are some cool rarities here, but we’ll be jumping into Rolling Thunder for sure.
Finally, a new “Big Blue” Street Fighter II cabinet is coming. And it features a ton of fighting goodness, including the rare Saturday Night Slam Masters and Darkstalkers games. Peep the list below.
- Street Fighter II Champion Edition
- Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
- Super Street Fighter II: Turbo
- Super Puzzle Fighter II: Turbo
- Darkstalkers
- Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
- Darkstalkers 3
- Saturday Night Slam Masters
- Knights of the Round
- Eco Fighters
- Capcom Sports Club
- Muscle Bomber Duo
All three games are priced around $399.99 and come with custom risers, so you don’t have to worry about height. And though there’s not a release date just yet, they’ll open up for pre-order starting on July 1st over at the Arcade1up website. They’re likely to sell fast, so don’t miss out!
