Later this week, Ubisoft will reveal what’s next on their plate with a new Forward special, as part of this weekend’s virtual E3 ceremony. However, an interesting leak has revealed what could be the company’s next big project – Battlecat.
That’s not a final title, mind you, but apparently some kind of codename for a first-person multiplayer shooter that looks to bring together three of the company’s biggest franchises in one place. That includes Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, The Division and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, all based around a single Tom Clancy experience.
A Twitter user by the name of Zer0Bytes_ revealed some first screens of the supposed project on Twitter, featuring the Wolves faction from Breakpoint alongside the Echelon group from Splinter Cell and the Outcasts and Cleaners from The Division.
The game has reportedly been in development for some time, with beta testing beginning back in January. There’s no word on its release date just yet, as it’s still in development. However, don’t be surprised if we get some sort of teaser this weekend, especially given that Splinter Cell fans have been waiting for what feels like forever for some sort of continuation of their series.
Check out the screens below and see what you think. Who’s ready for Battlecat?
