Every month, Sony’s PlayStation Plus program offers some great titles to download, including a new PlayStation 5 game a month. And this month’s releases look like they could be the biggest to date.
While Sony has yet to confirm the games that are coming, a Spanish website called Areajugones, which previously leaked titles for the service that ended up being revealed later on, provides an idea of what’s in store.
First up is a new Virtua Fighter 5 game, Ultimate Showdown. We reported on this a few days ago, with the game set to debut in the world of eSports. It looks like Sony is giving it away to raise awareness for its return, for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners to enjoy. Sega hasn’t said anything, but is set to confirm the title’s debut this Thursday.
Next up is EA’s highly entertaining flight sim, Star Wars Squadrons. The game recently joined the EA Play program, boosting its multiplayer numbers dramatically. But with PlayStation Plus, those numbers could fly through the roof. Not to mention it has compatibility with PlayStation 5, including performance improvements. Check out our review here, and the trailer below!
Finally, for PS5 users, you’re getting quite an exclusive title – Operation Tango! In this co-op supported game, you’ll take on adversaries in the spy world, working together to make sure you get back in one piece!
More than likely, Sony will announce this line-up on Thursday morning, following Sega’s announcement. It should be an impressive line-up, to say the least!
