With Nintendo shutting down modders left and right, you’d think that the company has something against those trying something creative in their own right. But apparently that isn’t the case, as the company has just announced a new project that’s sure to turn the heads of many Nintendo Switch owners.
The company debuted a new trailer recently for Game Builder Garage, which allows players to create and share their game experiences with others. It’s like Super Mario Maker 2, but with a stronger array of tools that spans beyond typical franchises.
Set to release on June 11 for the low price of $29.99, the game features a number of interactive tools, allowing you to build from the ground up with some unique experiences. In addition, you can share codes with other players, who can then download your efforts (and offer their own) for you to play and enjoy. This should give players a better idea of
what goes into the programming of certain Nintendo games – a helpful tool, to be sure.
Not to mention that this will be a game that will actually support compatible USB mouse models, so that you can move things around easier than you could with a controller. Very cool, indeed.
Check out the debut trailer below and prepare to innovate in just a matter of weeks. We’ll see how well this game does in the months ahead!
