EA’s long-awaited Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is only a few days away from release, set to arrive on May 14th. But you may want to save a little time for the day one patch that’ll be available for the game across all platforms.
The game will have a whopping 11.8GB day one patch available, and will come with the various fixes with said patch:
- Improves performance
- Improves stability and fixes crashes
- Improvements to Ambient Occlusion (AO)
- Lighting improvements – both visual and performance-related
- Miscellaneous content fixes
EA didn’t detail just what would be changed with these, but the game is set to take advantage of the 4K format with 60 frames per second speed, along with an abundant amount of download content for the trilogy. There’s no word yet on what will be added over time, but it never hurts to save a little bit for the patch to apply, so you can play the game at its best.
The game arrives on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 14th, and will play on Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility as well!
