With that, Nintendo has unleashed a new update for the game in conjunction with the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary, one that lets you unlock a number of personable items from the universe to enjoy in New Horizons’ world.
The update went live yesterday, and here’s a rundown of what all you can unlock, and how to get it.
Pay Nook A Visit
If you’re wondering where you can find these sweet little Mario items, look no further than Nook himself. Hit up Nook Shopping and use your bells on the ATM device, or pay a visit to the app on your phone. Stop by Special Goods and look under Promotions, and you’ll see what’s available, and for what price.
Now, keep this in mind. You cannot buy everything at once. There’s a limit of five items per day. Also, it’ll take about a day for the items to ship out to you, so you won’t get them instantly. You’re going to need to be patient.
Oh, and if you’re waiting to spend your moolah, there is one cool item you can get for free – the Mushroom mural. Chances are that’s already in your inventory if you’ve logged into the game over the past few days. If not, you’ll need to wait a day for its arrival.
