Another State of Play is in the books, and while there weren’t too many big first-party surprises from Sony, there was a lot of third-party love to go around.

Crash Bandicoot Goes Next-Gen!
Next month, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to upgrade their copy of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time! for PlayStation 5. The game will feature a stunning 4K upgrade to 60 frames per second, along with faster download speeds. However, there’s no word yet on whether it will have a cost attached, or if it will be free. We’re guessing free.
New Returnal Gameplay
We got a closer look at the awesome gameplay in Housemarque’s Returnal, which will debut later this spring. It definitely looks pretty exciting, to say the least.
Ready For Knockout City?
EA’s dodgeball title looks like a lot of fun, and it’s set to drop later this spring for PlayStation 4/5. You can check out all the tactics that it’ll use, along with its cool gameplay action.
Sifu Hits Hard
The developers of Absolver, Sloclap, will return with a new project this year called Sifu for PlayStation 4/5. In it, you’ll be able to brawl with some of the best out there, using tactics, objects and even range to your advantage.
Solar Ash Comes To Life
The team behind Hyper Light Drifter, Heart Machine, are hard at work on the colorful platforming adventure Solar Ash. The trailer below shows the latest in gameplay, and it really has a lot going for it in terms of traversal techniques and hard-hitting action. It debuts this year for PlayStation 4/5.
A New Take On Five Nights At Freddy’s
It looks like the scary Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise is jumping into next-gen with the creepy Security Breach, which has you facing off against a squad of new animatronic terrors while working with a security guard to survive. It’s due for release this year.
Enter The Soulstorm…For Free?
The latest in the Oddworld franchise, Soulstorm, isn’t too far off from release. The “2.9-D” platformer is set to debut on April 6th for PlayStation 4/5. And what’s more, it’ll be part of the company’s stay-at-home gaming program – which means it’ll be free! See it in action below.

Aw, yes, we got another great Deathloop trailer, coming from the team behind the Dishonored games at Arkane Studios. It’s stylish and lots of fun – oh, and there’s plenty of death.
