Though it didn’t quite have the smoothest of launches, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint has really shaped up rather well since its release. And now, players everywhere can give it a shot to see what they think of it.
Ubisoft announced today that the game is free-to-play for this weekend, running from now through January 25th at 10:00 AM local time. During that time frame, players can check out the game either on their own in solo sessions, or together with a group in online play. This is for all consoles across the board, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. (As well as Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 through backwards compatibility, of course.) Any progress made during the free weekend will carry over into the full release, should players be interested in picking it up.
During the weekend, players will be able to check out the new Amber Sky event. In addition, various franchise crossover events are also available, along with a number of playable Operatives and Ghosts to choose from. In addition, a number of event-exclusive items are available for purchase, like weapons, attachments and figures.
On top of that, the game is currently on sale through digital storefronts. The standard edition is just $9 on PlayStation Store; and the Gold Edition is marked down to $19.99. Both editions are also on sale through Uplay on PC; and it’s cheap on Xbox One/Xbox Series X too!
Will you check out Ghost Recon Breakpoint this weekend? And do you want a PlayStation 5 to enjoy it on? We’ve got you covered!
