Perfect Dark Is Returning On Xbox Series X

So remember when Microsoft poured a huge amount of cash into its new studio The Initiative and brought in a number of veterans to head it up? And yet, we had no idea what the heck they were working on? Well, now we do.
It was revealed during The Game Awards 2020 this evening that Perfect Dark will be making a comeback on an epic scale. The Initiative will be developing in the place of Rare Ltd., who previously worked on the Nintendo 64 game as well as its sequel Perfect Dark Zero.
The trailer is below, and it highlights a tormenting next-gen world, being torn apart by weather conditions and technological dangers. In the midst of it all is Joanna Dark, the heroine of the series, who finds herself in her most threatening territory yet.
The game will debut on Xbox Series X, as well as its joining platforms, though a release date hasn’t been revealed just yet. We should learn more about the game as 2021 goes on.
